Paul (00) and Sherrie (Stephens, 03) Price have been serving at the Odenton Baptist Church since May of 2004.  Odenton Baptist Church is home of the Odenton Christian school located in Odenton, Maryland.  They have been involved in many ministries over the years.

In the Christian school, Sherrie has taught 1st grade, K4, 3rd grade, and is currently the K3 teacher, which she has done for almost 10 years. Sherrie teaches piano after school and prepares students for recitals and fine arts competition.  She is a bus captain, oversees the church nursery, participates in the church’s cookie ministry for visitors, and is part of the music ministry.

Paul has been teaching the 4th grade for the last three years.  Prior to this, he taught 1st grade for 9 years.  Paul is the Elementary coordinator and Supervisor of the school’s extended care program for students who arrive to school early or stay late in the afternoon.  He drives for Sherrie’s bus route, involved with choir, and is a deacon.

Together Paul and Sherrie work in the Youth Group Sunday School, oversee the Wednesday night children’s club, conduct VBS, and help with summer camp.

Since their time in Maryland, they have been blessed to participate in other ministries as a branch of Odenton Baptist Church.  They have conducted many Vacation Bible Schools for churches who are in need of help and instruction in operating this type of ministry.  This outreach has taken them to Nebraska, Virginia, New York, and Colorado.  This also opened a door for them to take multiple trips to Thailand, to help Sri Racha Baptist Church and Missionaries Mike Leemon and John Lacombe conduct English classes and VBS.  This experience of traveling overseas and participating in a mission work of their own church has reaped many blessings.  To this day, several Thai children and teens ask about Teacher Awesome and Mrs. Wonderful.  Those are the nicknames given to Paul and Sherrie by the Thai nationals.

Although God has chosen not to bless them with children, they have been adopted by several church families as “Uncle Paul” and “Aunt Sherrie”.   Paul and Sherrie have an 8-year-old miniature schnauzer named Yoshi and a cat named Mocha.
