Dear Friends,
Andy and I are so thankful for the time we spent at Fairhaven. After we graduated we were married in 2001 and moved to Texas. There Andy was the youth pastor and principal at a small church north of Houston. In 2002 God blessed with our first child and in the years to follow a daughter and 3 sons. In 2006, God called Andy to pastor a new work in Everett, Washington, a city 30 miles north of Seattle. The church met in a gym for the first five years and we have since transitioned to a more permanent location in downtown Everett.
Through the years the ministry here in Everett has been full of both blessings and challenges. We have been blessed with a number of faithful families that actively participate in the ministries of our church. Also, since we meet in the downtown area, we have had the opportunity to work with some of the less fortunate in our community. We also have the privilege to work with sailors that are stationed at the nearby Naval Station Everett. We have found that evangelism in the Northwest is somewhat more difficult than Texas or even the Midwest as most people are unchurched, disinterested and at times hostile to the things of God. Please pray with us as we have a goal to canvass 10,000 households near the church this year.
