Anticipation builds each August as the start of the new school year approaches. Teachers were encouraged to strive for excellence at this year’s teacher orientation sessions. Dr. Jeff Voegtlin challenged our teachers with principles from John Milton Gregory’s, The Seven Laws of Teaching. In addition to the lecture times, much work was accomplished in setting up classrooms, organizing books, etc. Fairhaven Baptist College students who are enrolled in the education program work directly with our academy teachers as they fulfill their student teaching responsibilities. Student teachers were also on hand for this preparation week.
